Prescription (Rx)

A Prescription (Rx) is required before O2Pod can ship to a Residential Address.

The FDA classifies Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers as Class II Medical Devices, which require a prescription. When you order your O2Pod, you will be asked to submit a copy of your Prescription. HBOT prescriptions are not required for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Doctors’ Offices, or Health Care Facilities.

To get your Prescription for HBOT, contact your Medical Provider.

Medical Providers can write HBOT prescriptions for both FDA Approved and Off-Label uses

We accept Prescriptions in all 50 states from:

- Medical Physicians (MD)
- Osteopathic Physicians (DO)
- Chiropractic Physicians (DC)
- Dentists (DMD or DDS)
- Nurse Practitioners (NP, ARNP)
- Veterinarians (DVM) - for animal treatment only
- Licensed Naturopaths (ND) - only in the following states: Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, and Washington State.

Ask your Medical Provider to specify: "Hyperbaric Chamber with Oxygen Concentrator"

Use the O2Pod Smart Selector to create your Custom O2Pod Report. This will provide details about HBOT and your health and wellness goals that your Medical Provider may find useful when issuing your prescription.
